We understand the sensitive nature of the information we handle and take every measure to ensure its protection.

Information Collection

We collect personal information through various means, including intake forms, treatment sessions, and online interactions. This information is used solely to provide and improve our services. The types of information collected may include, but are not limited to, personal identification details, medical histories, treatment records, and communication preferences.

Performance Feedback and Consequences Policy

Our organization is committed to fostering excellence through regular performance feedback and clear consequences. We believe that continuous improvement is essential for maintaining high standards of care and service.

Performance Evaluations

Employees will receive formal performance evaluations twice a year, providing structured opportunities for feedback and goal setting. In addition to these evaluations, we conduct informal feedback sessions and quarterly check-ins to ensure continuous communication and support.

Rewards and Recognition

Satisfactory performance may lead to various rewards, including bonuses, promotions, and professional development opportunities. We recognize the hard work and dedication of our employees and strive to create an environment where excellence is rewarded.

Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)

If an employee’s performance is unsatisfactory, a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) will be initiated. This plan outlines specific areas for improvement, sets clear goals, and provides additional support as needed. Progress is monitored regularly, and feedback is given to help the employee succeed.

Disciplinary Actions

Continued lack of improvement may result in disciplinary actions, including termination. This policy ensures clear expectations and support for continuous development for all employees, maintaining the integrity and quality of our services.

Regulatory Compliance

This includes adhering to standards set forth by the BHCOE and other relevant accrediting bodies. Our compliance efforts ensure that we provide high-quality, ethical, and legally sound services.

Reporting and Accountability

  • Incident Reporting: All incidents, including policy or regulation violations, must be reported promptly. We have established clear reporting channels to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.

Regular training sessions are conducted to ensure all staff members understand compliance requirements and ethical standards. This includes training on new regulations, best practices, and organizational policies.

Ethical Guidelines

Client-Centered Care

Our approach to care is client-centered, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to each individual’s unique needs. We believe that personalized care leads to better outcomes and higher client satisfaction.

Informed Consent

Clients must provide informed consent before any treatment is administered. This includes being fully informed about the treatment’s nature, benefits, and risks. We ensure that clients have all the information they need to make informed decisions about their care.

Cultural Competence

We strive to provide culturally competent care, recognizing and respecting our clients’ diverse backgrounds and needs. Our staff is trained to be sensitive to cultural differences and to provide care that is respectful and inclusive.

Conflict of Interest

All staff members must avoid conflicts of interest that could compromise the quality of care provided. Any potential conflicts must be disclosed and managed appropriately to maintain the integrity of our services.

Quality Improvement

We are committed to continuous quality improvement. Feedback from clients and staff is regularly solicited and used to enhance our services. We believe that there is always room for improvement and are dedicated to making our services the best they can be.

Why is BHCOE Accreditation Important?

Not all providers of ABA therapy can achieve the quality outcomes that patients deserve. The BHCOE accreditation process thoroughly evaluates factors such as clinical decision-making, administrative and financial stability, staff satisfaction, and consumer protection to ensure excellence in care.

BHCOE Accreditation is the only ABA-specific accreditation. This third party organization systematically measures and reports on existing quality criteria in the behavior analysis community using standardized methods and practices. Accreditation is granted only to those entities that meet these stringent standards. To learn more about the criteria measured, visit BHCOE.
